We had our big turkey day over at the Millets this year, I have so many new cousins running around I had no idea who half of them belonged to. We cooked out turkey in the fire pit which if anyone knows is the only way to cook a bird! Their were over 30 pies that people brought to share with us and to enter into the pie judging contest. This year the Killian/Olsens had a hard time. My beautiful pumpkin burned, Christi's didnt solidify, mom added toooo much salt, and really, it was a miracle that mom's blueberry sourcream pie took second!
